Our Best-Selling Cover

Since the founding of the magazine, Vineyarders’ homes and gardens have provided inspiration for countless articles and, no doubt, countless readers. It might not be realistic that everyone own as striking a house and as glorious the plantings that are in magazines, but we love to look.

The magazine started printing a Home & Garden edition in 2006, and with two per year and each on newsstands about six months, it’s perhaps no surprise that a Home & Garden magazine could outsell our others. But deciding to put a celebrity on the cover made all the difference in 2007, with the Corbin-Norton house.

This Queen Anne that sits majestically on Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs is not simply well-known because it’s big, beautiful, and centrally located. The private home was fully renovated in the 1990s, burned down in 2001, and then was completely rebuilt by the same team that had done the renovation. Readers enjoyed a glimpse inside.
