- 1/2 lime, cut into thirds
- 4–5 fresh blackberries
- Small bunch fresh mint (including thin, tender stems)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or white sugar)
- Ice, preferably crushed
- 2 ounces dark rum (or light rum)
- Soda water
- Mint sprig and slice of lime, for garnish
1. In a tall glass, squeeze lime juice from wedges, and add wedges, blackberries, mint, and sugar. With a muddler or long spoon, muddle ingredients until blended.
2. Fill the rest of the glass with ice, add the rum, and give it a stir.
3. Fill to top with soda water and garnish with mint sprig and lime.
